February 2017: On Demand Session

On demand of our members we organised a session about Best Value Procurement.  Jeroen Van De Rijt, Dutch expert in BVP, brought a very interesting presentation about the methodology.  BVP requires a completely new way of thinking about procurement.  Instead of telling the suppliers what they should deliver and how, with a lot of detailed specifications, you should listen to them and let them make their best proposal, based on their expertise.

December 2016: Pascion Year End Event

On the 8th of December, Pascion organised its Year End Event in the Atomium in Brussels. With an amazing view over the city of Brussels, the Atomium offered the perfect conditions to look back at the different events which were organised this year and we also revealed to our guests the calendar for 2017.

We had an interview with the winner of the Procurement Excellence Award 2016, Wouter Machiels, who inspired the attendees on why every company should enter their procurement project in 2017. At the same time, Wouter announced that he accepted to join the board of Pascion and that he is eager to contribute his knowledge to the world of procurement and supply chain. Welcome on board Wouter!

We would like to thank everyone for their ‘pascion’ during all of the events this year!  Enjoy the Christmas holidays and hope to see you again in 2017!

Procurement Excellence Award 2016

On Thursday the 29th of September, we celebrated the Procurement Award Event at the beautyful venue of Kasteel Diepensteyn in Steenhuffel.

We congratulate the Winners:

Wouter Machiels and Emmanuel Bernoux of AGFA, who won the Procurement Excellence Award 2016, with their project “ACE 105 – Make internal partnerships deliver”

Frederick Boey and Caroline Cawley of Telenet/Liberty Global who were elected by the audience fort he Prize of the Peers, with their project “ECO Packaging”

and Manu Matthyssens of Solvint Supply Management who was chosen as Procurement Ambassador of the Year 2016.

 

October 2016: Future CPO Event - Winner Procurement Award

On the 27th of October, we will organise our Future CPO event with the winner of the Procurement Award. Stay tuned for more info and of course, join our award session on the 29th of September!

June 2016: Closed CPO Session - Managing Tail Spend

On the 16th of June, Pascion organised a Closed CPO Session on how to manage your (indirect) tail spend. During this session, we gave the floor to Spot Buy Center and Mercateo, two companies who are front runners when it come to tail spend solutions. It became an interactive afternoon with a lot of open discussions on how to work on your tail spend and get a clear view on the situation.
